Taking the recovery process step by step ensures that each daughter will receive the programs and services necessary to achieve lifelong sobriety and live a healthy and productive life. Daughters of Zion Clean and Sober Living House, Inc.'s Program and Services include the following:
Bible Study and Spiritual Counseling with Licensed Female Clergy – to teach the daughters how to explore God’s inspired word and how to apply it to their recovery process. Re-establish or build a new faith to guide them throughout their life time of recovery.
Local Church Attendance – to teach the daughters how to build relationships with a healthy Christian community.
Life Skills – to teach the daughters how to successfully transition back into the community.
Communication and Active Listening Skills – to teach the daughters how to effectively express themselves with confidence in order to get their needs met and to serve the needs of others in a healthy manner.
Anger Management and Conflict Resolution – to teach the daughters how to work through issues, and manage their emotions without relapsing.
Self-Esteem and Self-Worth Education Groups – to teach the daughters self-respect, integrity, and self–sufficiency.
Budgeting Classes – to teach the daughters how to manage their finances and maintain a saving and checking account.
Relapse Prevention Group – to teach the daughters how to identify triggers, negative thought patterns and negative emotions and learn strategies to navigate through them to get to the other side.
Health and Nutrition Sessions – to teach the daughters how to care for their bodies to ensure good physical health.
Referral Services – to link, coordinate, facilitate, and monitor support services to include but not limited to agencies and services listed below.
